Connecting for Success
Client: LA’s BEST, 2012
DWL developed Connecting for Success, a staff guidebook and curricular resource that helps program staff to learn how to emotionally connect with at-risk youth, reduce youth tolerance for violence, and expand learning about local and global issues. DWL also created a series of professional development workshops to accompany the materials and led LA’s BEST staff through an initial pilot phase of implementation. In 2012, DWL expanded this curriculum and developed additional trainings for LA’s BEST staff.
