The DWL team developed the curricula below to support each client’s unique project goals.  The services we offer include development, writing, editing, designing, printing, and/or online publishing.

CFSConnecting for Success

Client: LA’s BEST, 2012

DWL developed Connecting for Success, a staff guidebook and curricular resource that helps program staff to learn how to emotionally connect with at-risk youth, reduce youth tolerance for violence, and expand learning about local and global issues. DWL also created a series of professional development workshops to accompany the materials and led LA’s BEST staff through an initial pilot phase of implementation. In 2012, DWL expanded this curriculum and developed additional trainings for LA’s BEST staff.

myheroMy Hero Afterschool Guide

Client: The My Hero Project, 2007

Development Without Limits was engaged by the My Hero Project to develop and write a guide to help afterschool educators utilize the My Hero resources. The complete guide is available for download on the My Hero website.

Heroes In Our Lives

Client: New Haven Free Public Library, 2006

Development Without Limits was engaged by the New Haven Free Public Library to develop, write, and design this guidebook for the staffs of libraries and community-based organizations who work with young people afterschool to help them to design engaging, creative ways to get young people thinking, talking, and writing about qualities and people they admire.
