Project Ready 2.0 Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) Guide
Client: National Urban League, 2011
DWL developed a guide to help implement the National Urban League’s (NUL) vision for STEM programming at NUL’s youth programs around the United States. To produce this guide, DWL interviewed experts in informal science education, gathered high quality activities and planning tools appropriate for youth development programs, conducted extensive research, and provided practice guidance for program managers. DWL designed this guide as well as other guides in the Project Ready series.
Cosmic Chemistry Program Manager Guide and Online Professional Development
Client: McREL, 2012
DWL created a guide for new McREL program managers and staff who wish to start a science-based summer program. DWL worked with McREL to develop a framework and content for a printed guide, web-based guide, in-person professional development, and online professional development to support new program managers in running science-based summer programs.
