A Moderated Debate at the National Afterschool Association Convention 2010

Eric Gurna of Development Without Limits moderated a debate between Carla Sanger of LA’s BEST Afterschool Enrichment Program and Mark Levine of the Center for After School Excellence at TASC. The debate, entitled “Formal Credentials or Community Connections,” explored different perspectives on the issue of how to train and professionalize the afterschool workforce.

After School’s Role in Developing Creativity: A Keynote Address

Jennifer Brady of Development Without Limits presented an inspiring keynote at Washington’s 21st CCLC Statewide Conference in 2011 addressing how afterschool can support young people’s creative development.  She also made this presentation to the New Hampshire 21st CCLC directors.
