Connected Learning Train the Trainer for State Library Agencies

As part of a contract with the Young Adult Library Services Association (YALSA), we designed a two day train the trainer (TTT) to support state library agency staff in training their regional library staff to understand and implement practices of connected learning. The TTT goals were to:

• Deepen the knowledge, skill and ability of selected SLA and Library staff to provide high quality training on the Connected Learning approach for their own regions’ youth-serving library staff.

• Strengthen the ability of library staff to deliver high quality computer science and computational thinking experiences for teens using the Connected Learning approach.

• Improve the experience of young people in library computer science and computational thinking programs through Connected Learning.
